Anbritt Stengele is the founder and president of Sports Traveler, LLC (www.SportsTraveler.net)—a Chicago-based travel business offering sports packages, event tickets, and hotel rooms to sold-out sporting events worldwide. She is a former competitive and professional figure skater who traveled extensively throughout the United States during her career. Later she became a coach and trained dozens of figure-skating hopefuls in competitive programs in both Michigan and the Chicago area.
Stengele has contributed her insights on the sports tourism industry on numerous radio and television shows. She and her company have been featured in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Miami Herald, Crain’s Chicago Business, Chicago Tribune, National Geographic Traveler, Men’s Journal, and Best Life.

Lydia Rypcinski is a freelance journalist who’s written about and reported on international sports competitions on six continents. Her most recent assignment was serving as sports information specialist in softball at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China. She holds a BS degree in physical education from Penn State and an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago. She currently is working on a masters degree in journalism from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Rypcinski resides in Chicago.
